F1 Turkish GP to be held without spectators

Istanbul Governor’s office announced on Monday October 5th, that the race weekend would be held without fans amid a rising trend in coronavirus cases and deaths in Turkey, based on a recommendation by the Istanbul Provincial Pandemic Council. The statement from the governor’s office says:

“Within the scope of efforts to combat the coronavirus epidemic, and in accordance with the recommendation of the Istanbul Provincial Pandemic Committee, the F1 Turkish Grand Prix will be held without spectators.”

Ticket sales will be cancelled and refunded automatically in full.
